How much does Vieto cost?

Nothing. Browsing listings, posting your own, chatting and calling are free, and the platform takes no commission on deals. Only optional extras such as promoting a listing can be paid.

Do I need Telegram?

It is the most convenient way: inside Telegram you are signed in automatically and notifications arrive there. But you can use the plain website too — the bot sends a one-time code to sign in from a browser.

Which cities does it cover?

Everywhere in Vietnam: you can post a listing and find what you need in any city. The only difference is how many listings there are — the most are in Nha Trang, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, where the community started earlier.

Which languages are supported?

The interface is in Russian, English and Vietnamese. Listings are translated automatically, and the card shows which language the seller wrote the original in — so you know what to reply in.

How do you deal with scammers?

Listings are pre-moderated before publishing, reviews require a real conversation about a listing, and reports are reviewed and can end in a ban. The app also warns you when a seller has not confirmed their account and asks you not to pay up front.

What does the copies warning mean?

That the same offer is posted by several different sellers and the photos in the copies do not match — usually because pictures of one object were regenerated by a neural network. Vieto links such listings into a group and shows them at the bottom of the page together with their photos, so you can compare for yourself. It is not an accusation but a fact from the database: the decision stays with you. The main rule is never to send money up front.

Does the app watch prices for me?

Yes. Every listing has a price history: a chart of all changes since it was posted, and the old price crossed out next to the new one. Add a listing to favourites and the bot will message you when the seller drops the price.

Will people see my phone number?

Not until you open your contacts yourself. Messaging and voice calls happen inside the app, and your number is not passed along.

Why not just use Telegram groups?

In a group a post lives for half an hour and sinks. Here it has a page, photos, a price, a category, search and history — and it can still be found a month later. Plus services like visa runs and currency exchange that chats simply do not have.

How do I post a listing?

Open the app, tap “Post a listing”, add photos, a price and a description. After a short review it appears in the feed — that usually does not take long.
